FAQ: Resizing Photos for website
When I goto upload photos it will not let me saying the photo is too big!
This is because there is a scale limit in place to sto[p the image taking up too much disk space as we are only allocated so much by the Hosting service.

What you need to resize the picture is any image editing application like photoshop, paintshoppro etc...but I tend to use a free program called GIMP

which you can download here
http://gimp-win.sourceforge.net/stable.html
you will need to download the top 2 packages there and you need to download or certainly run the second one first... once installed open GIMP up and then browse to where your pic is to open it...

Once the pic is open goto the top TOOLBAR and selct Image then selct Scale image....now where it says Image size WIDTH you need to type 450 in there and just click the mouse in the box under that it should auto change that number to the correct size...now just goto File then Save and remember where you save it to upload it to the site...

Any queries please do not use shoutbox but PM me...

Cheers
